National Day of Prayer

Today is the National Day of Prayer.  Wherever you are, whoever you are, please pray--for our world, our country and its leaders, our states and localities, our families, ourselves.

II Chronicles 7:14
"If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

Few would argue that our land is in need of healing.  Few would argue that it is hard to humble ourselves. Few would argue that we are firmly entrenched in our wicked ways.  Let us turn our eyes from ourselves to our maker and use this day to cry out to God for mercy and healing.
